Our adult programming offers women (and men) hands-on, project-based learning experiences that are designed to give beginners the skills and confidence they need to become digital creators.

Our workshops and educational events are open to adults of all ages. Workshops cover everything from introductory HTML & CSS, to WordPress, Python, Ruby, web design and more. They are especially popular and successful because of the 4:1 ratio of students to volunteer instructors at every workshop, which is only possible because of overwhelming support from the technology and startup communities in the cities where we operate.

“I believe women are meant to excel in coding, owing to their ultimate patience and attention to detail! But there are very few women in tech/who learn code, and since being able to write or understand basic code is almost like being able to communicate in the modern tech-ridden world, I would love to help more women get up to speed.”

“Ladies Learning Code is such an important organization during a time when women and minorities are so underrepresented in tech. I started at Ladies Learning Code in 2013 as a learner and the inclusive and non-intimidating learning environment had me hooked. I'm proud to be an instructor and mentor with Ladies Learning Code and see others learn how coding can help change their life.”

“Having an idea is good, making it happen is better, coding makes the path in between the most exciting part.”

“I've read somewhere that programming is the closest thing we have to magic. It allows you to create things with words only. I think everyone should try it.”
